Moanday, indeed!

Ugh. It’s been a shitty weekend since about 3pm Saturday. Friday night’s party was tons of fun. It was at Spring4th and the mix of people was really great. I thought it’d be a venue full of teeny bopper rave kids – and there were rave kids there – but there were also 30 something rednecks, potheads and even what appeared to be Phish fans (!!). It was a very interesting night. We trundled Dave home and got back here at 3am. Long day!

Saturday we got up and had a bite then Caroline packed up and left at around 3pm. Then Nick and I proceeded to have a big fight and I didn’t speak to him until yesterday. And then, only after 2 movies at the theatre. Yah, I am a bit miffed. I’m still not in the mood to chat with anyone, Nick in particular, but really I don’t want contact with any humans today.

I got this pain in my left shoulder yesterday. I didn’t wake up with it, like I’d slept wrong, no, it just showed up during the day. The damn thing got worse as the day wore on and I’ve been taking naproxen for it. That’s what woke me up this morning: a stabbing pain in my freaking shoulder! Nice!

Needless to say, I am a grumpy cow today and I do not recommend interaction with me unless you really have to. My shoulder hurts, dammit, and it’s raining and I don’t even feel like going to L5P for our Monday ritual of comics and burgers.

Blargh.

    “this too shall pass…”

    *waves from safe distance*

  2. Perhaps next weekend when we get together we can fing a way to ditch the menfolk and go do something girly swirly.

  3. Yah, Caroline, it’s mostly better now. I’ll be resentful for a while, but that’s the nature of the Scorpio beast, I’m afraid.

Hey, Heather, maybe we can toss them out and have the house to ourselves for hair and dress-up? That would be soooo great! A man free girly day would be just grand. :-)
