Google Analytics?

LJ users, this is strictly a WP plugin issue, feel free to ignore.

Does anyone know how to fix GA? I’ve got the plugin installed, everything is correct, yes the theme has the correct php call in the footer and all that looks fine. On Google’s end, they are receiving the info but tracking nothing.

This thing has NEVER worked. From day one of installing the plugin and over several themes, it’s never registered a single hit over at Google. It seems lots of people have the issue but there are few answers as to why it works for some but not others. GRRR.

Help? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

Art from Mom

I totally forgot to post this after xmas. My mother June made me an awesome pencil drawing of cardinals for xmas. It’s the nicest thing she’s ever done for me! I boo-hooed when I saw it – which freaked the whole family out! Ha! I am much more of a crier now that I’m getting older.

Anyway, this piece is a kit with an outline that must be completely penciled in by hand. June did the framing as well. Awesome, right?

Bluebird!

Apparently not the bluebird of happiness, judging by all the snark going on lately, but the first sighting for me this year. I got a crappy shot of it because Nick left the camera on Video like he always does, so what I thought was a still shot ended up being a few seconds of lower resolution video. The pic is semi-crappy, but here he is in his lovely blue breeding plumage:

The sharpshinned hawk videos refuse to upload at youtube. I’ll see if Nick can do it for me from work. Feh.

2009 Busy Year for Coin Collecting

To add to my already staggering geekiness, I also collect coins. The US States Quarters wrapped up last year and they’ve added two new programs plus the ongoing Presidential $1 Coins program.

Presidential $1 Coins
Started in 2007. I’m 4 coins behind! Yikes! It was much easier to stay up to date when I was at the bank every other week for Crescent Moon!

Lincoln Bicentennial Pennies 2009
There will be four new pennies this year to celebrate Lincoln’s life.

2009 US Territories $1 Coins
D.C., Puerto Rico, Guam, Samoa and Mariana Islands coins.

In 2010 there will be a America the Beautiful National Parks Quarters program starting up, too.

Guess I need to get to the bank and beg for $1 coins before I get even more behind!

Also, in case you didn’t know, I’m a FREAK for pressed pennies. If you want to make my day, bring me a pressed penny from somewhere unique! :-)

Awesome new Web Series

Thanks to Wheaton for posting about this today!

There is a new web series on Crackle.com called Angel of Death starring Zoë Bell, Lucy Lawless and Ted Raimi amongst others. It’s written by Wheaton’s buddy Ed Brubaker. I just watched the first episode (time: 0:7:14) and I really wish this was a full blown series. There is an episode every day this week. Don’t miss them!
