And good riddance. 07 has been a bit of a trial and I won’t really miss it much.
Just one more overnight guest and one more friend task to get done and we’re clear until 08. From Sunday night after I toss Heather out with nice magenta hair until Wednesday, I don’t want to speak to anyone other than Nick. I’m tired, I’m over having guests and I’m really not in the mood to chat. Don’t take it personally, anyone, I’m just TIRED dammit.
We’ve not had more than 24 hours peace for most of December and we need to huddle. We’ve got much to accomplish in 08 and we need to formulate a plan. Kinda hard to do that when there’s someone sitting on your couch or chatting your ear off on the phone, ya know?
Seriously.
I love all of you lots, but please cut me some slack until 08, ok?

Yes, my bitches, the paint job is not done yet. OMG, the clear coat is bubbling up and peeling off on the trunk. And there are a couple of other places that will do the same thing as well as the rocker panels black paint chipping off to reveal the fucking RED underneath. ::sigh::
Dennis the owner is gonna shit kittens when he sees me roll up to his shop next week. Heh. Well, he offers a 3 year warranty, so I guess he’ll just have to redo the car. AGAIN. But not until spring. Clearly he and his crackhead employees don’t understand letting paint cure and they don’t have a heat booth, so trying to fix this now is just a waste of time. Hopefully, his shop will still be there in the spring and I can get paint that will STAY ON for chrissakes.
I may have saved money on this paint job, but DAMN I’ve worked my ass off for it and done without a car for weeks, too. ::shakes head::
Next time perhaps I’ll just pay a bit more, eh?
We’ve had a fast furious 2 weeks with Kate’s show, the big Yule dinner, traveling up to Knoxvegas and trying to get the shopping and wrapping done in between.
We got back around 10pm last night, opened our gifts to each other and crashed. You should SEE this house! It’s wall to wall xmas paper, boxes, gifts, clothes, xmas stuff that wasn’t put away – not to mention the 4-5 loads of laundry that need to be done. GODS.
I’ve got my work cut out for me today. Kate will be here tonite and I’ve got to at least get TO the couch! LOL Nick had to return to work today but I think he’ll take the rest of the week off. He’s beat, too.
It’s noon, I’m off to run a couple of errands and then get started on this mess.
Hope everyone’s holiday weekend was great! I think we’ll just lay on the couch the rest of the week…
