Yes, my bitches, the paint job is not done yet. OMG, the clear coat is bubbling up and peeling off on the trunk. And there are a couple of other places that will do the same thing as well as the rocker panels black paint chipping off to reveal the fucking RED underneath. ::sigh::
Dennis the owner is gonna shit kittens when he sees me roll up to his shop next week. Heh. Well, he offers a 3 year warranty, so I guess he’ll just have to redo the car. AGAIN. But not until spring. Clearly he and his crackhead employees don’t understand letting paint cure and they don’t have a heat booth, so trying to fix this now is just a waste of time. Hopefully, his shop will still be there in the spring and I can get paint that will STAY ON for chrissakes.
I may have saved money on this paint job, but DAMN I’ve worked my ass off for it and done without a car for weeks, too. ::shakes head::
Next time perhaps I’ll just pay a bit more, eh?
