I’m about to bust a vessel, I just know it!
With the party less than a week away, I still have a veritable shit ton of projects to finish. Crescent Moon has become a vortex into which many of my hours have fallen in the last week or so and it’s putting me behind with other things. I am very excited and freaked out about the new store and I’m also very happy to be a part of it, but I have so much on my plate that I think I’m gonna freak out before it’s all said and done.
There is a horrible list of stuff to do for the damned wedding (see below). I just KNEW I’d be the one who must get it all together and SURPRISE!!, I am. Nick gave up on attempting to plan anything and so now I must do every little thing. What’s done? Um, I think the answer is nada. I mean, I’ve at least got the reception covered, since it’s the housewarming party, but dammit, nothing is done for the nuptials themselves. Lessee, here’s my current list of things that need to happen:
1. choose a dress and all the accessories
2. what about a cake??
3. what about rings??
4. um, I’ll need flowers, too, I think…
5. I think we’ll need something to say. Yah, I’m pretty sure VOWS need to be written, otherwise we’ll just stand there…
6. what about lighting?
7. What about music?
8. buy the food stuff (HUGE thanks to Rebecca and Beth for their help here)
9. buy the champagne
10. do my nails (hands and feet)
11. get the blood test (heh heh, NOT anymore!! Yay!)
12. get the license
13. find out if Caroline is legal in GA (if NOT, then I have to call Claire and get her friend to do the ceremony)
14. have a nervous breakdown (I’m pretty sure this is in progress…Does crying randomly and wanting to kill everyone with my bare hands count???)
Uh, yah, I think that about covers it. ::insert SOB here::
