I REALLY like that I can change the CSS from within WP rather than have to root through it by hand. Yes, I’m that lazy. :-) Supposedly, this theme has bloated code and is slow… So I need you guys to let me know if it is indeed slower than the other theme.
I’ve not added my header pix yet, but theirs are enjoyable. I also have to redo the fav.ico and make myself a logo. I really like that the fonts are all sans like they should be and header graphics will automatically size and randomize for me. Nice!
Also: I would totally recommend this theme for people who want a certain look, but aren’t good with raw CSS. Kate, I’m looking at YOU. :-)

I think it’s pretty zippy. BUT your images “seem” load slow, especially the top one. But maybe it’s the rest of the theme loading preventing the image from starting? The wisteria image is only 24k so it’s not like it’s too big…
Regardless, it’s more than fast enough!
I like the theme, very configurable. I stopped using it because of my few posts with a lot of comments (I don’t remember the details) but things seem zippier since I started using PHP5 so maybe I’ll try it again…
PS – It’s way faster than my site!
