This, kiddies, is what happens when you don’t pack crystal when you ship it:
The total lack of CLUE I see on eBay on a regular basis just boggles the mind. Yes, this person sent out a box of crystal glasses (meant for Caroline, sorry, dude, no crystal for you) without bothering to pack them in bubble wrap. Nope, just tossed them in a box and off they go.
Some people are just eat up with teh DUMB.
EDIT: YES, I did get a prompt refund from the very nice yet clueless eBayer. :-)
Once, when getting off of a Greyhound bus, I saw some of the handy, dandy staff removing a box from the luggage area (Greyhound does shipping). The man first dropped it, then proceeded to toss it around in his hands like a basketball. From the sounds coming from inside said box, that picture is exactly what I imagined the contents to look like. Too bad stupidity doesn’t form a cushion of air around hapless glass items. I hope you were able to get your money back.
