Andy is getting married today. I still have some mixed feelings about the situation, but only relative to the 3, yes THREE kids he’s taking on, not the girl he’s marrying. I trust And enough to know that if he loves her, she’s got to be a good person. I wish them all the best! Happy Luna Miel! My family just got 4 persons bigger! Guess I’d better start Yule shopping now! LOL
So, yes, the Social Calendar is quite full for the next 6 weeks. I need to visit my family to get them off my back, but dammit, I’ve got events every frelling weekend until mid-November!! Here’s the rundown:
Oct 6: PAWS Atlanta Fall Flea Ball + try to run to Knoxville to shut the family UP.
Oct 13: Andy is in town for Neuroscience until the following Wed.
Oct 21: Decatur Beer Festival
Oct 28: Caroline’s Halloween Party [Evite soon for this!]
Nov 4: Open, but will probably do something with Heathen for her birfday (NOT! -A)
Nov 11: my Pirate Themed Birfday Party [look for the Evite around Halloween]
Then we have the holidays. GAH! The family just doesn’t understand what it’s like to have a social life since they’ve never had one! Yes, none of it is essential – other than the Flea Ball – but it’s important to us and it keeps us sane. Well, I guess it kind of IS essential. But, in any case, they think I’m just blowing them off when I’m really not, I’m busy!
All this is not even including the work I have to do: Oracle, new web client Athena Farms.net, the usual Moon stuff and run this place. Ben will be staying here through October, [Yah, that ended up being a fucking year and an $800 mistake! -A] which means a lot more cleaning and a lot less sex! If the poor little septic tank can live through his TWO showers a day and 2 extra loads of laundry a week it’ll be a bloody miracle!!
Yes, my bitches, the next 6 weeks should be a real test of my sanity! I’ll be good and ready to party every chance I get! You guys are hereby authorised to step in and remind me to BE GOOD at any time, since I know that stress = Bad Angela. :->
