Anybody want to buy a newsticker service?
I noticed that the 7am Ticker (at the bottom of this column) said it would cease working June 20 – which is not so since today is the 21st. So I clicked it and sure enough, the whole damn thing is for sale.
Think I’ll go post this at MeFi. Why not?
I remember now why I hate to post on MeFi. It’s the wankers that inhabit that little corner of the web that enrage me every time I go there.
It’s chock full of males 20-35 who see themselves as the “Elite Intellectuals of the Internet”. Riiiight.
I’d forgotten how snarky, rude and condescending those assholes over there are. You can find some good links and stuff there, but post at your own risk. There’s always some snotty jerk ready to give you shit about what you choose to post about.
