Once again, I’m burned by someone with whom I’ve been kindling a friendship. Ah, that familiar stang. No good deed ever goes unpunished and one of these days, I just might learn my lesson. Apparently, not today.
It may not be in the crapper 100% yet, but it certainly looks that way. Ugh, this and the thunderstorms have given me one helluva headache.
Sometimes you’ve just gotta walk away and hope that the other person will follow or at least try to stop you. That’s my litmus test. If it’s meant to be, then they’ll speak up. If they don’t, then it’s not worth as much to them as it is to you and it’s time to cash in the chips. Perhaps that’s not the best way to do things, but it’s the way I do things.
