We worked our asses off in the yard on Sat, mowing, trimming, moving mulch, etc. Robert came over and pulled up some privet for us – YAY!
Sunday was Caroline’s birfday, so we went to Six Flags with her and Andrew. We rode the Scrambler, the Space Shuttle (aka Pirate Ship), Great Gasp, Dahlonega Mine ride, Haunted Mansion and the Swings. Fun! I won a purple dragon from the little squirt gun game and I got a new pressed penny for my collection! All in all a fun afternoon!
We came back to an impromptu party at Rebecca’s house with ribs, smoked boston butt, bbq chicken, pasta/sauce and much wine. We had a GREAT time!
We stayed out too late hanging with Rebecca after the party and we drank too much wine, which led to our lounging in bed until 11am!! Sadly, half our day is gone, but we’re now off to Big Lots, Criminal Records, Lowes and Target to gather stuff for gardening. Yay!
