Heh, we’ve decided to go ahead and tie the knot on Thursday, April 1st, which is April Fools’ Day for those of you who observe the important holidays.
Since it *is* short notice, we’ve decided to do it here at our home with Caroline officiating and Jody as our Elvis – complete with karaoke Elvis music! We were gonna wait until next April, but with the house and the other snags we’ve run into by NOT being legally married, we decided to do it now and get it over with. Heh, I know that’s not very romantic, but hey, I’m nothing if not practical! :-) Next year, we will be in Vegas, getting married properly at an Elvis chapel! LOL
So, with April 1st the week after our housewarming, we’ll just have the reception first, THEN the wedding on Thursday! It’s so US to do things backasswards!!
If you’d like to attend the wedding, please shoot me an email. It’s during the week, so I don’t really expect everyone to drop everything and run to Decatur, but you can attend if you wish. We’ll probably have the ceremony around 6 or 6:30pm to accomodate those who want to come after work.
I’ll need RSVPs, please, so we can plan nibblies. There’ll be WAY too much champagne no matter how many show up!
2004 is quite a year so far!
