It CAN happen, people. If we just leave this shitty, broken system AS IS and allow doctors to get paid directly, more and more doctors WILL want to get paid directly. Fuck having to spend three hours a day filling out paperwork for insurance. Doctors are tired of being driven by the insurance companies. If we allow them to make a choice, I promise MANY will choose to stop taking insurance all together.
If you demand it, if you ask your current doctor if she’d like to be paid directly, it will send a message.
