This year, my Weasel is in charge of the arrangements. I’m usually the planner for stuff, so it’s nice to just sit back and let him do the work!
First thing this morning a big ole box of long stem roses arrived via FedEx (unfortunately they arrived while Nick was still here, which sort of ruined the surprise). He also gave me a card that I couldn’t open until he left. As soon as the front door closed I opened it up and it informs me we’ll be going to Sushi Avenue for dinner tonite. Hmm, odd choice, but hey, I *do* love sake! [update: I can choose which restaurant I want to go to when we go to Decatur! Yay!]
I’ve got a couple of things to do for the evening as well. I’ll be going out later to round up what I need. The gift I got has been here for a week, I just need to figure out how to present it!
So, Happy Anniversary to us! Yay! And to my Weasel: I love you honey! MUWAH!

I’m anxious to hear what you got him…and how it will be presented!! ohhh I hate surprises!!! EEEEEEK. Hope you all have a GREAT time this evening – enjoy your day!
ok I lovedddd reading your blog about your wedding day – although you told me over the phone a year or two back, reading it was just precious. Something to be said for it all – appropo that it all occurred on April 1…but Ang, it would not have been your wedding had their not been some awesomely twisted events that happened. LOL I loved it.
Yay! Happy 5th to both of you. *hugs*
Congratulations! Speaking as someone who is looking at there 16th in June I know what a hard road it can be. And if I may be so Bold as to suggest the repast tonight Cafe Lily is AWESOME!!! On Ponce about 2 blocks down from the Taco Mac
CONGRATS, you two! Have a wonderful evening!!!!!
P.S. I read the blog post about your wedding…..man, that was stressful.

Happy 5th, same as us! Hope you had a wonderful anniversary. I am now stalking you in response to your stalkage. :)
Take care,

I got us a Welsh Love Spoon specifically for the 5th Anniversary. Like this one, but it’s engraved with our names and wedding date. :-) He almost bought one, too. LOL
Congrats you two! I am glad to hear the dinner was wonderful; sounded yummy.
I wish you two many more years of love and happiness.
