Today we had planned to stay in, so we did. The roads were clear by noon and much of the snow is gone but we stayed in anyway. It’s been nice and quiet.
I’ve been doing a bird count (yesterday and today) and futzing around the interwebs and reading tweets from our West Coast buddies. (Apparently WonderCon was a good show this year.) Nick is drawing a week’s worth of Weasels. Heh. Say it again: weeks worth of Weasels! That is fun to say! :-)
After reading about the storm, I feel lucky we got so little. Dave, how’d you guys end up? My friends in Charleston got 6″ of snow!! Poor Caroline had to drive back from NOLA in that shit!! ARGH!! I am very grateful we ended up nixing the trip to Ktown otherwise we’d have been driving in that mess, too. Yuck!
It was a weird weekend, but overall, a good one for us. Tomorrow: back to the grind!
