I’ve managed to get the Oracle site up and keep us pretty much on track with the Taqueria despite the drug addict bullshit drama.
Tonight will be the end, one way or another. Either the psycho drug addict will be put into the nuthatch by his/her father or he/she will refuse and the father (whose spine seems to be missing from what I can tell) will pussy out and the addict will be turned loose on the streets with no money, no car, no home and no hope.
The former will mean that the person has one more chance and that’s good – but I still have no desire to be in contact. The latter will mean that the person will succeed in killing him/herself next week or next year and I’ll break contact the family completely. Not only can I not abide a family who is so pussy that they can’t stop enabling their child but they are also a family who can’t do what’s necessary to get that child committed to a facility where the help is not optional. In addition, I do not need the specter of this person being killed either by the drug dealers or suicide. I don’t need that drama in my life. It’s not that I don’t care, I do actually, but I can’t live with that sort of stress. And neither can anyone else, apparently, since everyone is gone if the addict is turned loose. There are only 3 or 4 people left who give a shit now anyway, but we’re divesting entirely if this goes awry. Who wants a front seat to self destruction and suicide??
So. Tonight will be the deciding vote. I wonder what it will be? Odds are 50/50 at this point.
