I was SO rooting for the Patriots! It was a sad, sad loss. I really hate that they lost the ‘bowl and didn’t get a perfect season. I only got to see the last quarter, but that’s when it happened. I’m very happy for Eli Manning, tho. As you may or may not know, Eli’s big brother Peyton played for Tennessee in college, so he’s famous to me for that. Eli played for Mississippi in college.
So, although I was really wanting the Patriots to get the perfect season, I’m happy for the Mannings and I think the Pats played a great game.
Brothers not only Super Bowl Winners, but back to back most valuable players as well…just incredible…and so wonderful for their dad Archie who never had a chance to get anywhere close to a Super Bowl in all the years he played…
Oh, yah, it’s an amazing thing! I’m happy that the Vols can claim Peyton as our own!
Yay Mannings and let’s hope that the Patriots can do it again next year!
