Yes, it was on the front page today that Hunter S Thompson shot himself at his home in Aspen. He died as he lived, I think, so I wish him well. I hope his family is dealing with his suicide as well as they can.

Also, I just read in the paper that he asked for a “proper funeral” and then to have his ashes shot from a cannon! Thompson was a man of excess right to the end. You gotta respect that. :)
I never even heard of Thompson, but it’s awful that he killed himself.
