I just heard about his death from Nick, who heard it on the radio. Here is his Wiki. He died of heart failure that was due to an infection. This just goes to show that no matter the advances, we’re still as susceptible to staph and the other systemic infections as we have always been.
It totally sucks ass that he had to die of an infection. It’s so tragic and so inappropriate.
::sigh:: This is doing nothing for my generally blue mood today. I think I’m heading from “blue” to “funk” in a hurry. Damn.
PS added 12/08: His wife, Dana, died a couple of years later. :-(
