I can never leave well enough alone. I have reinitiated negotiations with the squirrelly realtor and the spastic seller that we had the bad experience with a few weeks back. I must be crazy! I just couldn’t shake the feeling that there was a deal there waiting to happen if I could manage to get everyone on the same page. So I did. We are now doing paperwork and getting our ducks in a row to make a bid (that is already approved by the seller) tomorrow. Yikes! We’ll be just a little over our heads, but not by much, like $150-200. We decided that it was nuts to let $200 keep us out of a house.
So, to that end, this is official notification to all our friends that you will never see us again!! LOL We’ll be house poor for a few months until we get on our feet and get used to the new finances, so until then, we’ll not be going out nor will there be any significant gift giving this year. The good news is that we plan to entertain a LOT more and there will definitely be a huge housewarming party for you all to bring us booze to get us thru the tough times! :-)
:) Maybe you can have a project party. You know, people come over, paint the house or whatever needs doing, and have a party afterwards. Would be fun.
