What are they thinking, indeed!

I hate fucking politicians. All of them. And their lobbyists. So, the dems are in control of Congress, but does it matter? Nooooo!

From the NYT: The Fear of Fear Itself.

We are being led by a bunch of wankers, people. WE MUST VOTE THEM OUT!!!

They all suck and we need to clean house. Vote Libertarian for fuck’s sake! Vote for anyone other than an incumbent! Even if you like ’em! Vote ’em OUT! They are obviously too pussified to actually DO anything different than what we’ve tolerated for, uh, EVER.

Just damn. What will it take to straighten out this clusterfuck of a government, anyway?

Having citizens rather than a nation of Sheeple™ would be a great start…

Dave’s Obit

Of course the Bougie Snob didn’t put an obit in the ATLANTA paper. It’s in the Macon Telegraph, where no one will see it.

The obit was posted, but is now gone. If you want to read it, it’s behind the cut at the end of this post. It’s really lame and the charities are SO wrong. I can do better:

David Klepsig
Born Feb 13, 1958; died Oct 30, 2006 while sleeping in his bed at home. He was 48 years old.
Before David lost his vision to diabetes, he created beautiful pointillist art in black ink. David always loved to play guitar and write songs. He played acoustic, electric, 12 string as well as a little bass. He collected guitars like women buy shoes. Dave’s lyrics stand just as well as poetry as they do with a tune. Later in his life, David got into the DJ trade. He trained with Evil Z here in Atlanta and he played several raves around town. Using a DJ deck and software that was designed strictly for the sighted, Dave learned to use this equipment and create live trance mixes that totally rocked! His music collection was impressive. Although Dave’s life was not easy due to the ravages of diabetes, he always made the best of his situation and he lived life to the fullest. We will miss him and we will see that his musical legacy lives on. Please make donations to the American Diabetes Association or the Center for the Visually Impaired in Atlanta GA.

There. That should do it. :-)

I have closed comments on this post and put a separate page up for Dave. You can add your memories and contact other friends of Dave on the static page. Thanks!

Text of lame Macon obit behind cut.

9/11 anniversary thoughts

As today has slid by, my thoughts have been occupied with getting back in the swing after vacation, checking on our accounts, catching up with friends, etc. I’ve not thought much about 9/11 since I read the paper this morning. I guess the reason is that nothing has really changed in this country. Foreign policies are still frelled. Duhbya is still in power. Terrorism still rages. Did 9/11 make an impact on the US? Yes for the short term, of course it did, but the long term? Certainly seems not to have changed a thing other than giving the conservative Christians a reason to decide that it’s a good time to make our own Christian Taliban and push the US closer to theocracy.

::sigh::

May the victims all rest in peace and may the terrorists get ALL they deserve.

W00t! No more McKinney!

To the person who accused me of racism when I pointed out that Cynthia McKinney is only good for playing the race card and courting the ghetto:

WAKE UP AND SMELL THE ATTITUDE, DUMBASS!

Not only did that HO McKinney scream “Conspiracy!” about 100 times, but she does not even have the class to give a proper concession speech. She waited until 12:30am to show herself – probably because she was incensed that she lost.

Forbes reports:

“Though her supporters and staff were teary-eyed early Wednesday as she conceded, McKinney remained defiant. She blamed her loss on the news media, which she said failed to “tell the whole story,” and echoed her previous criticism of the Bush administration and the war in Iraq.

McKinney also said electronic voting machines, which have been used in all of Georgia’s precincts since 2002, “are a threat to our democracy.”

She ended her concession speech, which sounded more at times like a campaign stump, by wishing her successor well, but without naming him. “

After all, she expects to remain exactly where she is no matter what she does or says. And take a look this crazy shit. [article on 11 Alive was dumped] She’s a nutter, I tell you! A complete fruitcake!

Her constituents were complaining that “their votes were being switched to Johnson when they tried to press McKinney!” Well, actually, it was one black woman who made the complaint and the reason it was changing is because her long fake nail was selecting Johnson when she tried to press McKinney with her fingertip. I kid you not. Pathetic.

On top of all that, McKinney’s punk ass thug staff knocked down and threatened an 11Alive cameraman [article on 11 Alive was dumped] after her “I-didn’t-lose-it-was-a-Republican-conspiracy” speech! Now tell me again how NOT ghetto McKinney and her hard core constituents are?

The person that called me a racist because I dared call McKinney what she is, an arrogant, useless, racecard playing troublemaker can kiss my ass. If these things listed above don’t prove my point, then you are so incredibly naive that you probably believe that the UN can solve the Israel/Palestine problems just by asking nicely. Dink.

Cynthia McKinney is GONE because we are tired of her bullshit, period. If I’m a racist, then so are a LOT of other people who can’t stand McKinney’s stupidity. If the slobbering liberals would address the facts rather than wishful thinking, perhaps they’d not appear so ignorant and naive. Oh, but that wouldn’t be nice, would it?

From the [now defunct?] Monsters and Critics blog:

“[posted by] Whitey Aug 9th, 2006 – 16:13:21
Blame the whites, blame the poll machines, blame the officer, blame the president, blah blah blah.

It’s people like McKinney who hurt race relations. It’s people like McKinney who are so caught up in their own world that they fail to take responsibility for their own actions. Apologies and learning from experience go a long way. Obviously, the lack of these has finally caught up to this woman.”

Hmm, isn’t that what I said? Yah, I’m pretty sure it is. So, I guess this person is a horrible racist, too, if you apply the same criteria that was applied to me. NOT.

So, anyway, McKinney is now gone and hopefully her political career is over and we’ll not have to hear or see her EVER again. Anyone who is that low classed really does not belong in government or in any public arena.

I’m thrilled that Hank Johnson won! He’s a Buddhist, you know. He was described as stiff during one of the debates, but I find him to be more calm than stiff. He seems to be the kind of guy who will try to get people to come together and work for common goals. I’m so happy that we got him in!

Yay for Hank! I think I’ll send him some email love!

::ding dong the witch is dead!!::

HOOD card

I found the HOOD card that McKinney sent out last year:

Racist HOOD card from Cynthia McKinney
Racist HOOD card from Cynthia McKinney

See any white people? NO. That’s because it was mailed to 30032, where apparently, only black people live. Hmmm. Ended up in my mailbox. McKinney has not, does not and will not ever be concerned with white people. She is only concerned with black people. Her supporters support terrorism. She thinks she’s above the law. She has several employees do her work while she travels everywhere on the taxpayers’ dime. She is so arrogant that she thinks she shouldn’t have to debate or even SAY what her positions are.

Some people seem to think that she hung the moon and she is a great rep. I think they are out of their minds. Whatever. I’ll keep voting to get her out and I hope others who see her for the leech that she is will do the same.

Yes, I’d rather have a “do nothing” commissioner as a rep than a nasty, arrogant DO NOTHING rep who uses her office to only represent a portion of her constituents.

Vote HANK JOHNSON on August 8!! [6/09: we did and the bitch is gone! yay! Mr Johnson is a very sweet soft spoken man and I like him. -A]
