It appears I have caused the trolls of LJ to go into a frenzy with my post about the incompetence of the DragonCon “staff”. I was told I’d be charged the on-site price for our 08 badges, but I was charged $45, the AFTER Con price which really pissed me the hell off.
Of course, the Kool Aid drinkers descend upon the post and start the retarded comments, like, “Well why dincha go to the Con store?” and “Well why doncha stop coming to the con?” and my personal favourite “Man, that $5 really ruined your day!”. Uh, yah. So, I close the comments to keep their drivel out of my inbox. Then when they try to take over my LJ, I lock that down, too. Well, lemme tell ya, that really pissed ’em off! OMG, they set up a whole THREAD just for flaming me. I have a fan club!! W00t! If these clearly addled individuals think that flaming me on an LJ board will hurt my widdle feewings, man are THEY wrong! I think it’s funny as hell! And another Fan Club!
These people are obviously too dense to understand that $5 is NOT the point. Incompetence, no accountability and bad management of the Con IS the point. Not to mention that dumb woman in the office telling me clearly: “I’m not going to argue over $5. You can have them at the on-site price, no problem.” When I’m told one thing then something else happens, well, I tend to get PISSY. They also don’t seem to recall when I posted several detailed entries with suggestions about making the Con better and even had people lined up to help create a database and such. Did the con folk acknowledge any of this? Hell NO. The most you’ll get from the Con Slaves if you try to discuss ways to improve is a blank look or a pissed off diatribe about “We are doing the best we can. We’re volunteers, you know.” Like for some reason the fact that this multimillion dollar corporation has no employees is a good thing… Yah.
There’s one loser LARPer that follows me around LJ posting flames about how horrible I am – which is tragically funny seeing as how he spends an inordinate amount of time trying to flame me, which is – if I’m not mistaken – the very thing he’s pissed off at me for.
Eh, the flames are fair. Some are pretty good, others, just lame. If any of them had any sense, they’d check the old posts to see just how much I did try to help. But they won’t. Too dumb. Eh.
Well, the diversion of that took me away from my duties with Disease and Pestilence. I’ve got to get caught up. No rest for the wicked! >;->

Let me tell you about my Ang: don’t fuck with her because she’ll cut you! Just read her other LJ post! And most of all, don’t talk to her like she’s stupid because she knows WAAAYY more than you do, and always will. My guys and gals, she is a realist, and this is why she will survive in this world. She may not think it, but she will thrive under ANY circumstances. If you are pissed of because of something she has said, that’s a good thing; at least it has gotten your head out of your ass!

It’s too bad, but these LJ trolls just can’t be bothered with facts, it’s all about how horrible I am for DARING to dis their CULT. It’s not a con anymore, it’s just a CULT meeting with parties. If they want to be the biggest PARTY con, then so be it. They’ve gone too far to be considered a real con with any merit as far as guests and good panels go. Things would have to go 180 degrees for it to be anything more than a cult/party con now. So, the Con Trolls can party like it’s 1999 and we’ll be at Comic Con meeting and greeting the people who can help us get somewhere with the comic. At least we’re getting SOMEthing for our money other than bullshit and a hard time. :-) Hell, I can PARTY here at my home and save $1000, right?
