I love Friday the 13th. I usually have a great day on these and today looks like it’s gonna be good! The weather is great and I’m more or less caught up for the week.
It’s been a long week, what with the 4 day weekend of work on the house. We managed to get three windowsills torn out and replaced just in time for the Ida monsoon.
My birthday was Wed. The family who hates me still sent cards… Why, I don’t know. They are CRAZY. It was an OK time. We went to Vortex for my free food and hung out with Heather, Googi, Janel and Xia. Thanks for driving all that way just for me, girls! MUWAH!
Other than that I’ve just been running the roads helping Stormy with that damn car of hers. Yesterday we shlepped it from the Chrysler dealer in Stn Mtn over to her mechanic on Shallowford. An all afternoon affair. I mean, it is always fun to hang with Stormy, but dang, it wiped me out and gave me a whopper of a headache. However, I slept like the proverbial rock last night. I didn’t hear the cats or Nick at all this morning! I’m bright eyed and bushy tailed, so YAY! :-)
Today is Farmer’s Mkt for the Mulligatawny soup Nick is making tonight and then back here to do some laundry and floor cleaning. This place is in dire need of a cleaning! All the tromping in and out over the weekend and then rain…yah, the floors are naisty.
So, with that, I’m off to shower and get ready for the Fm Mkt. Tonight I plan to party in celebration of Friday the 13th!
