Mercury Rx and Autumn is here!

Mmm, I tell you, fall has the best sleeping weather! It got down into the 50s last night and I slept great! I only woke up once and actually went back to sleep quickly! Yay!

Unfortunately, the retrograde us upon us, so don’t start anything new or sign contracts now. This one goes through Oct 15th, so just chill. I’ve found that if I REgroup, REdo, REdesign, REprogram, RE-anything, I’m generally ok.

I get very frisky when the weather starts to turn in the fall. I feel like my kitties who go trotting around the yard – even stalking squirrels! These two are housecats to the bone, so just going out is a big deal! Missy likes it when the outside is like the inside; not too cold, not too hot.

I get motivated to exercise and do stuff in the fall. I am more of a fall cleaning person than a spring cleaning one. When we get the art shed built, there will be a purge of all our CRAP. I may have a yardsale or just take it all to Salvation Army. I’ve got enough tchotchki to choke a horse. I’m cleaning out my stash of glasses and dishes, too. I’ve got beer glasses and other random vintage stuff that I’ll give to anyone who wants it. NO that does not include the Starburst. THAT goes back onto eBay.

I’ve already cleaned out my closet. Not that I have much to clean out – I’ve gotten rid of a lot of crap in the last few years. And I’ve not been buying more since I refuse to buy nice stuff when I’m a fat cow. I’m not tossing out the con wear since it’s pricey to replace. I will probably toss out the smallest of the long skirts and such, but everything else stays for now.  I’ve got a black velvet princess cut cocktail length dress in a small size 8 (more like a 6-7) if anyone wants it. It’s a great dress that I’ve had stuffed in the closet forever. I’ll never wear a small 8 ever again, so it’s gone. The other stuff is just old retail job dress clothes that I’ll never wear again.

There will also be lots and lots of books, comics and graphic novels.

When we start cleaning stuff out, I’ll post all the good stuff, ok?  Now, I’m off to shower and get my day started. If I can get some Oracle done, then my reward will be to get some studio time today.
