We are in a long weekend and I must say that it’s been very productive. We got the yard mowed Friday before all the rain – yay! We then hung out at Stormy and Jim’s place and met the herd o’ pets they have: 6 ferrets, 2 dogs and 3 (or 4) cats. Eeek! A true and mighty herd if I’ve ever seen one.
Saturday we slept in then scampered to Lowes for screening supplies and some yard stuff. We managed to get in and out before it started raining. We decided to skip the Inman Park festival even though it cleared up later in the day. We stayed up late and watched all our TiVoed sci-fi.
Yesterday we worked all day. I got most of Oracle’s site done and Nick got this week’s comic going. Today we are off to our “office” at the Vortex. We’ve got this week’s comic to finish as well as the sampler to get together for Free Comic Book day. Yes, it’s less than a week away and we’ve not done the layout yet. We’re doing a sampler for Free Comic day and we’ll do another one for Comic-Con. Ooo, I just found out that Serena is going to be a Comic-Con!! Squeeee! We are going to have too much fun!
