Music Midtown was great fun! My faves were (in order of how good their show was): Live, Train, Oleander, The Cult, Left Front Tire and Fuel . Marvelous 3 sucked ass. Fuel would have ranked higher if the singer’s voice had not been totally ragged out. He apparently has vocal cord issues, since he has been taking singing lessons. Well, I can tell you that screaming on damaged cords is no way to heal them…The weirdest thing of the festival was Dennis Rodman showing up at the Live show. (?) What the fuck was 99x thinking? A friend of mine took 2.5 hits of Ecstasy and was “in the bushes with my eyes rolled in the back of my head” [her quote] for most of Friday night. I saw her Saturday and she was debating taking more that evening. Hence the Soopa Secret Phrase for today! Tee! Those of you who know my friends know who I’m talking about… And those of you who’ve seen Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas know this line, too.
