He was famous for many roles, but the one I know him best for was Gen Hammond on Stargate SG-1. He was to attend DragonCon again this year.
Mr Davis was one of the classiest, nicest actors I’ve ever had the privilege to meet. He was warm, open and generous to all his fans.
He died of a massive heart attack yesterday in Vancouver, BC Canada. What a shame! He will be missed. :(
