So, since the wankers at BoA refused to do a fucking thing yesterday, I contacted the various vendors that our brilliant thief tried to charge to and got responses from two out of three. Good thing I know how to deal with vendors and shit! BoA is certainly not going to do a godsdamned thing about this!!
The hosting service had already declined one of the charges from the moron and when they heard from me, they issued a refund for the other. The diaper service who received $23,320.50 in charges had sense enough to decline them immediately, so that’s all done. The only vendor left is asknet-shops.com and the charge is a piddly $39.95, which I’ll refuse to pay and BoA can handle it. (After I call AGAIN to tell them what to do.)
And again I wonder: what is the point of making huge charges to a few random vendors? I really do not understand what this dumbass thief was trying to accomplish. It makes NO SENSE to me! If I were gonna steal someone’s card info, I’d make a ton of small purchases that might slip by, not $23k worth to a single vendor!!
I called BoA again today, however, because the wankers had a hold on my account and not only were the charges not posting, but the refunds were not posting, either, which was leaving my account standing at -$2490 or so. So I called in again and told them what to do (DUH, nothing can clear if you have a hold on the fucking account!!) and got the account back into the black. Of course I’ll have to call again to dispute the $39.95 from asknet-shops.com, which is a sketchy software “shop” that sells gods know what.
It still chaps my ass that I have to call in over and over to TELL BoA what to do to fix my account. Just damn. Again, if this was Amex, it would have been straight in 20 minutes. Which is why I am not using the biz card for much of anything anymore, I’m switching everything to Amex. FUCK BoA. They feel that they don’t owe me the courtesy of watching my back because they are a bank? Fine, they can watch me slowly move all my business to Amex and other companies who DO feel that they should watch my back.
Once we get a refi and roll in (pay off) the BoA HELOC, it will be my mission to start pulling away from BoA. They’ve treated me very well over the years (until the last 3-4 months) and they give us all our accounts for free, but their customer service is SHIT. Total and complete SHIT. ::sigh:: But, honestly, it’s probably not much better anywhere else. :-(
