Wow, we got surprised, didn’t we?
We are here with Emily and Astrid – Astrid lives in Smyrna and she’s not going anywhere, so we’re just gonna have a partay!! We’re good for food and smokes, but they are almost out of their smokes, so there is much gnashing of teeth going on. Emily keeps wanting to go out and I’m like, NO!
The roads are completely FUBAR and will only get worse as the temps drop, so they just better ration the smokes cuz we’re not getting out today or tomorrow. [update: Nick ended up going out around 3pm, as this video shows and the main roads were fair.]

No go out, play in the snow and plan to be IN for the next coupla days. W00t!
[Update: it’s the day after and the roads were clear by noon. So, although there’s still some ice on the ground, the snow is done and we are very lucky to have missed the worst of it!]
