30 Days episode

We watched a 30 Days episode last night that put a NC redneck hunter into the midst of a bunch of vegan PETA morons in CA (where else?). It was interesting. The redneck came to same conclusion as I: the animal processing industry is unnecessarily harsh and cruel and should be stopped, but we’re not gonna stop eating animals. It’s more humane to hunt them yourself than buy ground beef at the store, but who’s gonna do that? Of course the PETA activists were spouting lies lies and more lies. Here are 2 of most bald faced, moronic and ignorant of the lies:

  • Live subject vivisection is still widely used in the research industry (absolutely NOT. Animals in research facilities have got it good. The regulations on how they must be treated is staggering. Having been partnered with a research neuroscientist for 8 years, trust me, I KNOW.).
  • Dead and decomposed animals are scooped up off the side of the road at factory farms and served to you as ground beef (not in this country, fools! Probably not anywhere since it’d KILL everyone. Duh.).
  • Milk cows are forced to remain pregnant their whole lives to supply milk (not exactly. They *are* bred, but they are rotated in and out of the breeding/milking cycle. Oh, and if you DON’T milk a cow with full udders, she will get sick and DIE. Dumbasses.).

PETA is full of whackjob extremists who think if you’re not eating grass and stealing animals from labs and farms you’re supporting cruelty to animals. BULLSHIT. I think anyone who is a member of PETA should be banned from any medicines that have come from animal research (that would be ALL of them for those of you who are slow). Many of the Hollywood Hypocrites who are members of PETA, still support various research groups who use animals every day to do said research. This is my wish:

Nurse at ER Admittance desk after accident: “Oh, I see here you’re a member of PETA. Well, we can stitch you up without lidocaine, set your bones without pain killers and give you some bandaids, but since you don’t believe in animal research, we can’t give you any antibiotics or do any procedures that were learned on animals. Have a nice day!”

Animal research saves lives. Period. I just wish they could use squirrels for it…;)
