This weekend was a long, hard one. I was completely laid out by Aunt Flo Friday and Saturday. Nothing totally unusual, but 2 whole days of SUCK nonethless.
I felt better on Sunday and we decided we needed to get the FUCK out of the house. So, we did some random shopping, then went to Casa Vieja (our fave Colombian restaurant) then caught the tail end of the small Atlanta Comics Convention. It was really good to meet Bobby and to chat up the Heroes guy. We also caught up with Shelley and Mike who have a new comic shop on Roswell Road: Shelley’s Teahouse Comics. Their one year anniversary will be Oct 31st and we’ll be joining them for their celebration. So should YOU.
We also got more info on the Anime Weekend Atlanta convention, which we’ve decided to attend this year. For you steampunk folk, you should know that this convention is becoming THE steampunk con in the area as well.
